Notes:
Literature Birley, Anthony R.: "Marcus Aurelius, a Biography", Routledge, 1993, p.234 stemma A Trajan and Hadrian, p.241 on Matidia maior and minor,
p.244 does not support the idea that M. Aurelius's greatgrandfather Libo Rupilius Frugi cos 88 was a third husband of Matidia maior.
Cascella, Sergio: "Matidia minor and Suessa Aurunca", in Thorsten Opper (ed)  "Hadrian: Art, Politics and Economy", British Museum Press, 2013, p.73-88
on (Mindia) Matidia minor M368. The stemma on p.76 proposes either L. Mindius Balbus or L. Mindius Pollio as her father.
They were proconsuls in the 40s AD , so much more likely either could be the grandfather of a girl born in the 80s.
Fernoux: Notables et élites de Bithynie (2004) p.418-419 (§2 M.Aurelius Mindius Matidianus Pollio)
Raepsaet-Charlier: PFOS (1987) stemma IX (imperial family)
Remy: Carrieres Senatoriales (1989) p.25-26 (§8 L. Mindius Balbus M597), p.28 (§11 L. Mindius Pollio)
Setälä: Roman Brick Stamps (1977) p.147-149 on Matidia minor M368. She is supposed the daughter of L. Vibius Sabinus, not L. Mindius (stemma p.285),
which most scholars now prefer.
Shackleton Bailey: "Two Studies" (1976), p.53 (M. Mindius Marcellus RE5)
Suolahti, Jaakko: Junior Officers (1955) p.263,286,329,374 (M. Mindius Marcellus RE5)
